Step 5: Check pH and EC. After mixing, test the solution. Adjust pH with a few drops at a time from your dropper bottle, wait a few minutes, then re-test. Small, patient adjustments beat one big correction every time.
Step 6: Clean and store. Rinse the dropper bottle and pipette with clean water immediately after use, and store it dry. Never leave concentrated nutrient in the dropper, as it can crystallise and clog the tip.

Seedlings and cuttings: run at roughly half the recommended strength. Young roots are delicate and easily burned by a full-strength solution.
